Successful cleaning of particle filter from locomotive
A new customer from the railway sector asked for cleaning options for its used in locomotives exhaust particulate filter. Previous attempts at cleaning had not been successful. The front sides of the filters were clean by the previous cleaning tests, but the filter interior was still heavily polluted, especially the gap between exhaust particulate filter and catalyst.

An application of the patented FilterMaster process, which was specially developed for long-term filters, was used. The cleaning was carried out quickly and without any problems, and considerable soot / ash residues were discharged.
