The stainless steel sculpture is in front of the main entrance of an office building. The dull paint had an unfavourable effect on the sculpture and besides this the paint was faulty. Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH was tasked to remove the paint from the sculpture, however, subject to the precondition that they would not roughen or damage the stainless steel surfaces.

Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH used the PowerMaster process of their affiliated company mycon GmbH. First they encased the sculpture in order not to soil the office façade which was very close to it.

Subsequently PowerMaster made a good job of it. In just a few hours the paint had been completely removed from the sculpture without damaging/roughening the surfaces.
