Cleaning / paint removal / stripping surfaces
Cleaning moulds, core boxes and dies
Cleaning with CO2 / dry snow or compressed air / blasting agents
IceMaster cleans thoroughly and gently.
Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH uses the high-performance systems of the company mycon GmbHÂ for gentle and thorough industrial cleaning.
Dry snow, produced from liquid CO2Â directly inside the blasting pistol, is fed into a compressed air stream and blasted at high speed onto the respective surface.
This technique is inexpensive and allows gentle cleaning.
Cleaning machines
IceMaster has revolutionised dry ice sanding in the industrial cleaning field. Low operating costs, full automation and continuous availability without the necessity to reorder dry ice pellets are just a few of its many advantages. Dry ice, produced from liquid CO2Â directly inside the blasting pistol, is fed into a compressed air stream and blasted at high speed onto the respective surface. This technique is inexpensive and allows almost unlimited automated cleaning.
The PowerMaster system can be used to remove stubborn dirt from machines if the blasted fluids residues can be rinsed off after cleaning. If certain parameters are observed, even painted surfaces can be cleaned with the PowerMaster. As long as the painted surfaces showed no signs of damage before, they remain intact after cleaning. A slight ‘sanded effect’ makes the surfaces appear like new.
Cleaning electronics
Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH also uses the high-performance systems of the company mycon GmbH to sand down electronics and other plastic surfaces.
Paint removal / stripping
Our PowerMaster sanding system uses an environmentally-friendly and water-soluble granulate that is applied in a compressed-air powered jet.
To boost the kinetic energy when the jet meets the surface, the granulate is wetted with a small quantity of water (0.2–max. 1 litre) just before it exits the nozzle. Thanks to the Laval adapter nozzle, the jet exits at a very high speed up into the supersonic range. The soft granulates do not corrode the metal surfaces; plastic surfaces can also be cleaned or stripped easily with a softer jet speed. The use of nozzles with a jet width of up to 160mm means that large surfaces can be treated quickly and inexpensively.
