The new EU GDPR (in German EU-DSGVO) comes despite all the remaining ambiguities. mycon and Kipp Umwelttechnik GmbH have been preparing for this for quite some time, but data protection was important to us without the new regulation.

Kipp Umwelttechnik and the sister company mycon are heavily involved in development. Mostly in cooperation with universities, several new processes and systems have been developed which save energy and labor costs for our customers and generally reduce costs. Our automation solutions reduced the workload for employees. In addition, we inform our customers via newsletter about new devices and application possibilities, if we have been granted a prior approval by telephone. Our newsletters are industry-specific and contain only information that is of particular interest to the recipient.

According to the new Data Protection Regulation, prior to the transmission of information, a particularly documented declaration of consent by the customer must be available, the previous telephone consent is no longer sufficient.
